About Winged Tree Holistic and Founder

At Winged Tree Holistic, we are dedicated to promoting overall wellness through compassionate counseling, spiritual direction, coaching and chaplaincy. Our mission is to empower individuals to achieve personal growth and emotional well-being while prospering their soul. Winged Tree Holistic uses biblical, spiritual, metaphysical and ancient traditional approaches. We service women 21 and over who seek to integrate faith, holism and spirituality into their journey towards wholeness.

Dr. Dee has over 30 years of experience in education, theology, gerontology, human services, developmental disabilities, case management, grief, depression, homelessness and addiction. Her work has been in both secular and religious organizations. She is the owner of Salt Sisters International, a nonprofit organization, that serves the spiritual well-being of women. Many have utilized her services to cope spiritually with addiction, grief and life transitions. Dr. Dee graduated from Lindenwood University, Fontbonne University, and she holds a Doctor of Theology degree with emphasis in Faith- based Counseling and Metaphysics from Cohen Institute. She offers multiple approaches to guide others into helping themselves, such as nouthetic counseling as taught by Dr. Jay Adams. Dr. Dee acts as a bridge to connect others with LCSW's, Clinical Therapist and other licensed practitioners. 

 Dr. Dee gives spiritual direction, counseling and ministers to people in long term care facilities through Ektrepho Inc., a nonprofit that specializes in spiritual nourishment for seniors. She works with Compassion Ministries to offer a monthly worship service to residence of The Valley at Stone Bridge in Florissant, Missouri.  She is employed as a Program Specialist for a local nonprofit assisting those with developmental disabilities and other cognitive challenges.  She is passionate about community integration, grief share, and writing club at her place of work.  She also does social coaching with young adults who identify as members of the LGBTQ community. Dr. Dee is on staff at Cathedral at the Crossroads church in St. Louis, Missouri. She along with her sons own and operate A Spoonful of Sugar in Benton Park, Missouri. She is a published author and highly sought after speaker.
